Actually, I think I like any map I win on. Which wouldn't be much.

I guess that africa is voted to be the best map, its far away from being popular, u can chack it in ongoiing and waiting games, for me its the best map, one of my favourites but not my favourite overall cause just a few players use to play it

p.s. come and vote for D&C the map with the highest average of 2nd player win

With love, "the D&C campaing command

    Thanks for the poll, Sheriff!

I think there's one on the drawing board.
Any new map on MajorCommand is a friend of mine!

    whats so great about Africa?
I like the drop zones, it feels like a map within a map - as long as you have an airport, you could attack anyone and everywhere. The play goes completely different with a smaller amount of players compared to a larger amount of players - when you have a smaller amount of players, it becomes more competitive for the drop zones, often people attacking each other for them (especially in 1v1, you have to make sure no one gets those little +1 troop bonuses). In smaller games it becomes more conservative, with players fighting for their own survival, often cowaring into the corners of the map while the more luckier ones who got a +1 bonus early on see growth.

It's a map that has straight-forward but complicated borders, and it's always just a bit of fun :P

I like that it has a lot of strategic depth. I picture computers learning every map except 12 domains faster.

The trade-offs are a lot different than normal, there a lot of +1 commands available (drop zones), but most everyone has easy access to them. Then, the drop zone commands offer a bit more flexibility in how you deploy - replenish your troops or use the extra troops for offense? I feel a lot of the issues become more interesting and more important on no reinforcements, but even fewer people use those settings.
