Late to comment but thanks a lot for setting this up. I would have tanked a few games to drop into the gold leagye if I had planned this better.

I figure I'm a long shot but I have chance on my side!

Doubt it becomes an issue but what happens if someone does not accept a game invite for "x" number of days?

SeekTheTruth, after going second, managed to fend off Springsteen and gain control of the Forgotten Kingdom.

The campaign by SeekTheTruth to liberate the populations of Europe from the oppressive Sebrimian regime was a complete success!
They may have started the war but we certainly finished it...

I was also victorious against Derswick on Classic Massive, going second again.

    Middle East

    SEEKTHETRUTH v HOMERION (1st)

I figure if we all post our links like this it would save Master a bunch of time - he'd just have to copy/paste then right?
I noticed as well that on the game list that first turn winners are placed on the left, and second turn wins on the right.. something to remember if you do it this way xD

how about if someone does not join then you get the default win....would be terrible if one would lose most games playing 2nd and then couldn't play when they are supposed to be first because a player decides to bail..probably won't happen until the end when players realize they can't move up and prefer not to lose the points to a player going first..... just my 2 cents...

would it be possible to see on the scoreboard the wins and the composition of the wins?

    for example:

    Played|.Wins.|.Turn 1st.|.Turn 2nd.|.Lost.|
    ...5....|....3...|......2.....|.......1.....|...2. ..|

probably a lot of admin but turn 2 could be used as a decider if scores are equal as a win when going second is worth more. it also helps to understand where you are versus your opponents.

Probably a lot of admin and asking a lot so understand if not possible. Not sure if this has been asked already.

Great concept and thanks for organising again.

    Some thoughts:

"wins going first" or "went second and won" may be accurate but to me seem ungainly phrases, why not adopt "home" and "away" as indicators? Obviously a "home win" would be a win going first and an "away win" would be winning going second.

Also, and probably more controversial: how about scoring 2 points for a home win and 3 points for an away win?

...me and ndrm seem to be heading for a record: just sent off an invite for our 8th try at getting a game where I'm selected to go first. ---edit--- on the 10th attempt we were succesful
